Job Summary


Responsible for designing, implementing and customizing OS, Firmware Programming & Internal setting, Installing & updating Android Operating System.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Participate in and perform defect assessment and bug fixes to new & existing apps
  • Design and develop Android Embedded computing product device drivers and system software based on hardware platforms.
  • Write unit tests and UI tests in a native mobile language.
  • As one man show focused on the software development lifecycle, creation of new apps and bug fixes and enhancements of new & existing apps.
  • Android system level expertise, porting/bring up of Android and Linux on ARM based platforms Familiarity with C/C++, JTAG and other debugging tools Programming experience.
  • Android RAM & ROM customization, including view, content providers, resource manager, notification manager and activity manager etc.
  • Responsible for Requirements Analysis, Design, Coding, Unit Testing, Integration
  • Implement Military Graded Encryption protocols on Firmware
  • Implement password authentication to keep unauthorized users from accessing sensitive data files.
  • Cloud APIs, push notifications, integration of analytics
  • Able to connect to external services via XML/JSON RPC or SOAP
  • Handling Push notifications, Animations, Location based services and other Google platform APIs
  • Experience of integrating third-party libraries and APIs (Payment gateways/ analytics etc.). In App purchase and Push Notification
  • Experience in Barcode Scanner and QR scanner
  • Experience in developing mobile applications and libraries for various Android platforms including latest OS versions
  • Extensive use of TDD, Robotium and Roboelectric
  • Familiarity with Mockito and Espresso
  • Deploy consumer applications to Google Play Store.

Education & Experience Requirement

  • 2-3 years of technology experience is required.
  • Experience with Embedded RTOS; Linux/Android; C/C++/Java programming
  • Writing drivers in Linux or RTOS
  • Linux kernel configuration, cross-compilation and device driver experience
  • Experience working with communications protocols such as SPI, I2C, serial ports, USB, etc.
  • Experience with networking technologies such as Wi-Fi, Ethernet, TCP/IP, SNMP, REST APIs etc
  • Experience with source control systems (i.e git, svn)
  • Auditing, modifying, and/or debugging the whole range of Android/Linux subsystems
  • Kernel configuration and building

Interview Phases

FAQ

Q. Who issues the work permit?
A. The timeline and results related to the Approval/Rejection of the Work Permit Application is the core decision of the concerned Immigration department of UAE.
Applicant(s) who would be selected/shortlisted for UAE Office of SANSO will be processed for the work permit as per the Govt policies under the sponsorship of SANSO.

During Probation or regular tenure of your service if you are not performing as per the given task or targets, so company is eligible to fire you as per MOI/MOL laws permissions.
