Job Summary


The Data Center Expert monitors, identifies, and resolves issues concerning the data center, server equipment and net backup equipment; performs upgrades, assists with data storage issues, maintains data center documentation, tracks physical data center inventory, and maintains disaster recover processes and documentation.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Empowering a culture of safety, security, and compliance in all aspect of datacenter activities
  • Performing cable installations, hardware rack / stack installations, testing, and troubleshooting using standard datacenter processes
  • Deploy and maintain advance Data Center Server and Network Infrastructure
  • Test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs.
  • Configure and troubleshoot OS-related challenges on servers
  • Develop data visualizations using BI tools and web-based technologies
  • Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting operating system and computer/server hardware.
  • Experience with networking protocols.
  • Inspect power/cooling systems to identify and fix flaws that may be detrimental to network performance.
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining routers, firewalls and virtual private networks.
  • Review and oversee the deployment of software patches and updates.
  • Carry out performance-tuning operations on data center storage systems to ensure high level of data quality, availability, and security.
  • Evaluating & designing network adapters, backup solutions, and network systems
  • Manage and administer servers, networks, and applications such as DNS, FTP, and Web
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of network administration and firmware integration
  • Resolve operational, infrastructure or hardware incidents in a data center.
  • Secure the data center networks from the hacker attacks.

Education & Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor’s/Master's/Ph.D Degree, or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunication, Electronics & Electrical or any related field.
  • 6+ years of Data Center or IT experience.
  • Control Data Center stocks (copper/fibers patch cables, fiber cleaning accessories, cables labels, etc.) and report appropriately
  • Experience of IP Networks
  • Experience of Storage Devices.
  • Ability to perform at an advanced level, troubleshooting techniques, communicate issues and results to co-workers and escalate to immediate management
  • Experience with AWS cloud database solutions such as: Amazon Aurora, RDS, Redshift, Timestream, QLDB, DocumentDB, etc.
  • Experience with Microsoft cloud database solutions such as: Azure SQL Database, Cosmos DB, MySQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
  • Experience with configuration of Virtual Servers
  • Breadth and depth of experience across physical, virtual and cloud database system infrastructure including Oracle and SQL Server ecosystems.
  • Certified from IT companies such as Microsoft and Cisco Technologies
  • Experience with Oracle, Microsoft, CISCO, and IBM platforms
  • Proven communication and writing skills in English
