To manage the development and implementation of SANSO sales & marketing structure/strategy and communication plans, and centralized oversee marketing, communication, public and media relations activities in order to effectively promote SANSO brand and projects, and build a positive corporate brand in line with its strategy and objectives with proper ATL/BTL/OOH activities and expertise at B2B and B2C levels.

Eligibility Criteria

  • Strategy: Manage the effective cascading of the department strategy into business plans to ensure vertical alignment and horizontal integration with other interfacing departmental strategies
  • Human Capital Management: Manage the effective achievement of objectives through setting individual objectives, managing performance, developing staff and providing formal and informal feedback in order to maximize overall performance and team motivation.
  • Budgets and Plans: Contribute to the preparation of the department budget and monitor the financial performance of a given area versus the budget so that areas of unsatisfactory performance are identified, rectified promptly and potential performance improvement opportunities are capitalized upon.
  • Media Relations: Act as the key point of contact for establishing and maintaining effective relationships with media entities, and ensure sufficient media coverage to promote SANSO brand, objectives, projects and segments.
  • Brand Management: Lead the development of SANSO brand image and branding guidelines, and build and maintain SANSO brand in order to ensure that a consistent and unique brand is portrayed externally and during all interactions with existing and/or potential customers.
  • Communication: Manage all aspects of communication planning and execution, including internal and external communications, in order to ensure that SANSO communication initiatives, content and publications are in line with SANSO overall marketing and communication strategy.
  • Continuous Improvement: Motivate subordinates and identify opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account international leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvement.
  • Policies, Systems, Processes & Procedures: Recommend improvements to departmental policy and manage the implementation of procedures and controls covering all areas of activity so that all relevant procedural requirements are fulfilled while delivering a quality, cost-effective service.
  • Quality, Health, Safety, & Environment: Ensure compliance to all relevant quality, health, safety and environmental management procedures and controls across the department to guarantee employee safety, compliance, delivery of high quality products/ service and a responsible environmental attitude.

Job-Specific Requirement & Key Skills

  • Oversee the development of SANSO marketing strategy and associated action plans and campaigns, in alignment with the overall department objectives and plans in order to increase awareness of, and promote SANSO brand and projects.
  • Ensure all collaterals and marketing material are adequately reviewed, and comply with marketing guidelines.
  • Ensure collaboration with other departments such as operations and business development in order to agree on positioning of SANSO segments and projects, and gather all required information that enable the establishment of marketing solutions, content and collateral to support business development and sales activities.
  • Leads Marketing efforts to commercialize new innovations and products to drive profitable growth, through partnering with Local and Regional Technical & Marketing Teams and Sales.
  • Coordinate with the Graphic Design to ensure online, digital media and printed media products are generated to the required standard and within production schedules and deadlines.
  • Manage the development of presentation and reports to various internal stakeholders in order to provide required information and facilitate decision-making, as deemed necessary.
  • Review weekly & monthly updates on the effectiveness of marketing and communication initiatives and campaigns in order to continuously identify improvements.
  • Past experience leading teams on complex projects involving multiple stakeholders.
  • Ability to influence senior leadership on key decisions.
  • Experience managing global/National/Regional, Zonal etc. project portfolios in an external and/or internal marketing or design agency strongly preferred.
  • Strong project management, organizational, and creative thinking skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines while under pressure.
  • Ability to lead the development of processes and implement systems to build a successful prioritization workflow.
  • Ability to remain highly composed in a fast paced environment with competing priorities.
  • Strong understanding of emerging social media tools and their use in marketing activities.
  • Strong knowledge of below the line and above the line marketing (ATL/BTL/OOH/Media Buying/PR & Brand Management).
  • Customer relationship management skills.
  • Proven B2B, B2C & B2G marketing experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate toward positive outcomes.
  • Strategic Planning and organizing skills.

Education & Experience Requirement

  • Bachelor’s/Master’s/Ph.D Degree in Marketing / Mass Communication or any equivalent qualification
  • 10 years of relevant work experience for MANAGERIAL Level and min 15+ years of experience for HEAD LEVEL in sales & marketing preferably in a similar industry (Smartphone/telecom etc)
